Ideally situated in the centre of the village
of Lochcarron in Wester Ross, with stunning views of loch and mountains,
the Rockvilla Hotel and Restaurant is a small family run business
offering personal service in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The
hotel is fully licensed and open to non-residents.
Bikers are welcome.Comfortable accommodation is provided in the rooms, most of which
have excellent views across Loch Carron. The restaurant is also well
appointed and comfortable and serves a comprehensive variety of
local fare. Bar meals are served in the lounge bar, which has a wide
choice of single malt whiskies, and where traditional real ale, mainly
from Scottish breweries, is served. The quality of real ale we serve received official recognition
last year from
CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale)
when we achieved a listing in
the 2007 edition of the Good Beer Guide - and we are delighted to report
that we have just received notification that we will be in the Guide
again for 2008! We are also
delighted to be listed in The Good Pub Guide, the Rough Guide to
Scotland, the Lonely Planet guide and the Country Living Guide.
Lochcarron is an excellent base from which to explore the north west
Highlands of Scotland, with places such as Applecross, Torridon,
Gairloch, Plockton, Kintail, and the Isle of Skye all being within easy
reach.
